My name is Claire Bailey, I'm a qualified Nurse, Midwife, and Health Visitor with a strong background in family and community health. I’m currently working as a Health Visitor, where I support families with a focus on early intervention, child development, and parental wellbeing. As a mother of three and stepmother to two, I bring both professional expertise and personal understanding to my role. I’m passionate about helping families thrive and making a positive difference in the early years of a child’s life.

Gemma’s background in primary school teaching, long haul cabin crew, as well as an ambulance service community first responder, equipped her with many experiences of dealing with varied first aid situations over the years. As a new Mum, Gemma initially joined Mini First Aid in 2016, keen to share her first aid knowledge with the other families of her community, to ensure they would also know how to handle any urgent situations with their little ones. Gemma has also had a role within Mini First Aid head office since 2017, supporting our nationwide team of trainers in their initial training as well as their continued professional development.

Hi, I’m Julia. I am an experienced Trainer with a background in Retail Pharmacy & Healthcare. I am mum to two boys, who are my world, and the reason I run Mini First Aid Salford, Bury & Bolton. My eldest took ill the day after he was born and it was so frightening because I was clueless about how to help him. I wanted to make sure that if it ever happened again I would know what to do. So I asked my Midwife and she recommended MFA. The class was great, I learned so much in just a couple of hours and felt much more competent and confident about what to do in a First Aid situation. Now I’m really proud that I’m part of the MFA family, and can put all my experience to good use by empowering anyone that cares for little ones, or even little ones themselves, to potentially save their life.
