We have curated the Baby & Toddler Show especially for pregnant women and families to safely shop for all the essentials easily, simply and in one place. It’s just like visiting your local department store or shopping centre, but with additional safety measures and only new and expectant parents attending! All Baby & Toddler Show staff will be taking daily lateral flow tests and all exhibitors will be taking lateral flow tests at least every 48 hours as an extra precaution. We, and the venue recommend that visitors take a Lateral Flow Test 24 hours prior to attending and 48 hours afterwards for peace of mind.
Are you managing visitor numbers?
Yes, we recommend you buy your ticket sooner than later to ensure you can attend on your preferred day. To make the shopping experience as comfortable as possible for expectant and new parents, we have introduced a morning and afternoon session for visiting at the weekend: 10:00-13:30 and 13:30-17:00. This will ensure there’s plenty of room in the venue for everyone to move around and shop at their own pace.
Will social distancing measures be in place?
Yes, changes have been made to the layout of the show and aisles have been widened to provide more space to help everyone maintain a reasonable distance wherever possible.
Can you tell me more about hygiene and cleaning at the event?
Sandown Park is a racecourse, with lots of doors throughout the venue, which will be opened to enhance ventilation and ensure the venue remains light and airy. All onsite staff are fully trained on Covid hygiene measures, and we are working with our venues to ensure deep and thorough cleaning takes place before, during and after each day of the event. Complimentary bottles of Pura hand sanitiser will be given to attendees and additional sanitiser stations will be provided throughout the venue.
Do you have any other advice for attendees?
The safety of our visitors, exhibitors and staff is our highest priority, and all guidance in place at the time of the show will be followed. For more information on the additional safety measures in place at the show please click here.
